Affirmations are great to help plant seeds in yourself to help manifest things in your day for yourself. They are also wonderful at allowing you to let go of luggage you may be holding onto without realizing it.
Guidelines for Affirmations:
- It's best to use a positive instead a negative ( the subconscious likes to hold onto things like "no, won't, don't, can't and we would like our focus to be away from those)
- Stay in the present tense ( so it is as if what you are planting is already happening)
- Use first person wording
- It is helpful to repeat the affirmation at least three times
Okay so for Release Affirmations you may want to put aside three sessions of five minutes per affirmation in your day. Really let those words and feelings sink in.
List all the people ( or problems) you feel you need to release and work on them until you no longer feel the need ( such as family members, co-workers, lovers, friends, even yourself!).
It's thought to work best if all three parts of the affirmation are done entirely.
Part One
"so n so's name here repeated 3 times"
I fully and freely release you . I loose you adn let you go. I let go and let the Divine do It's perfect work in, through and as you. You are free and I am free, as all is cleared up between us now and forever.
Part Two
"so n so's name here repeated 3 times"
You fully and freely release me. You loose me and let me go. You let go and let the Divine do It's perfect work in, through and as me. You are free, and I am free, as all is cleared between us now and forever.
Part Three
YOUR NAME inserted here repeated three times
I fully and freely release me. I loose me and let me go. I let go and let the Divine do It's perfect work in, through and as me. I am free, and I am free, as all is cleared between us now and forever.
Again you can say God, Goddess, whomever you believe in really. This affirmation is said to help one let go of unneeded or unwanted baggage so to speak.
