Okay so I made a new friend at Michael's ( it a craft store full of yarn, art supplies, cloth, ya dee ya). She's a check out lady. Anyways she randomly asked me if I had any ideas about tweaking her Raggedy Ann costume ( mind you I did na know her at the time and later she admitted she had no idea WHY she asked me nor what is was about me that made her think I would even know how to make R.A. look scary).
So we made a playdate ( this morn) to totally ZOMBIFY the R.A. costume she had bought.

Now mind you all we used were some scissors, a tatting hook ( super teeny tiny crochet hook), and shades of eyeshadow n lipstick that I never use.

Yeah the quality is suckish cause it an old webcam. However up close it looks like R.A. spent a night in a ditch.

So while we were working on it I was making all kinds of jokes:

"Raggedy Ann! Where did we go wrong raising you???"

"Friends don't let friends drink 200 Long Island Ice Teas even if it IS their 21st birthday"

"Are you doing drugs? Is it sex?? Ever since you started hanging around those boys....there is something different about you!!!"

Oh it went on and on.

Well my friend is Christian and goes to church ( in fact she gonna do a trunk or treat event in a few days) so can't go ALL out on gore n what na ( the church na like that ).

So I told her ( seeing as her humour seems broad and she na one to take to offense easily) "O I know how to put a Church positive spin on this!"
She was like "Really....? How?"

So I held the tattered and dirtied costume up and said :

"I miraculously survived a disaster through the power of Christ Raggedy Ann action figure!!"

We were both almost in tears!!!

So while we did na make the dress you see.......I am sharing the dirty success we had in making it ( clean) zombie worthy.
