This book is a great read to learn about mummies, the process of making them, Egyptian Gods and Goddesses and more. It is a bit graphic ( they show you how they got the brains out via twizzle stick and there are pictures of shallow graves and the like) so you may want to view it first before handing it over to your child.
My son was fascinated with this book when he was like 6 or 7 however like I said it's up to the parent.
Again a great read to get a beginners idea on basic Egyptian culture (pyramids, mummies, pharoahs, and more!).
