by John Welter

I love it when Safeway has dollar book sales.....I find so many gems that way and lemme tell you what! This one is a gem indeed. It starts off fast paced with plenty of wit and banter......

"A woman I was introduced to at a dinner party told me how she buried the wrong dead cat. This doesn't mean she was looking for the right dead cat."

The main character is a journalist ( who disdains journalism and corrects people all the time how he never took it, he just made the mistake in mastering English). He is sarcastic, bitter, thoughtful, vulnerable and works through his own internal demons of alcoholism and self sabotaging habits with plenty of wry humour and self reflection.
As serious as that may sound, and as serious as this book gets....don't let that fool you , as that this read is a very easy read full of interesting thought processes, insights and humour that will have your lips curling into a smile as soon as you pick this book up.

Enjoy!
