Default Good Omens

Good Omens
by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

This one is a fun read ( though it helps if you understand British humour). I've read it 3 or 4 times myself and always fall in love ( and laughs ) with it again and again.

The plot?
The Son of the Devil is about to be born....he is to be raised to be well devilishly EVIL ( is there really any other way?) so that when he comes into his own he can bring Hell On Earth!
Quite the plan isn't it?
What happens though when there is a mix up and the child is raised by a fairly dull and unexciting family?

The characters are absolutely wonderful....
The Devils Child
The Chattering Nuns
The Angel
The Witch
The Four Horsmen
A. Crowley

You'll laugh your arse off! I know I did....again and again.

C.S.

HogsFather--

My parents use to call me Susan because I had no sense of humor at all.

Oh yees

I so agree
One of the best books ever - yes I might go that far! It's wonderful - and even better with every further read. And believe me - you'll HAVE to read it more than once.

Just amazing to find so many Pagan and Christian things blended together with a whole lot of humor - simply a fun read.

And -hey- you won't have to be without our beloved DEATH in it

I can only say I join you in the recommendation!
