So what is pendulism?
PENDULISM - This is the art of attaching an even weight to a string or chain and using intuition to gain and interpret the information you get from the actions and directions of the swinging penduluum. You can even attach a favorite stone to a necklace chain or even by a penduluum at a shop.
Okayyyyyyyyy so what does a penduluum do and how do I use it?
Well there are many reasons and ways.
Examples of reasons:
- To get an answer to a situation
- To find out the gender of an unborn child
- To find a lost item/ person
Some methods:
1- For a simple "yes /no" answer to a question grab a piece of paper and draw a big equal sided cross on it with YES at the top and bottom and NO on each side ( see my crappy diagram below) :

Now hold your penduluum so the stone hovers over the center of the cross. Concentrate on your question ( you can even ask it out loud). The pendulumm should start swaying ( and not because you are swinging it around.....keep your arm still). It should swing up and down ( YES) or side to side (NO). The faster it swings the stronger the answer.
What if my penduluum swings around in crazy circles or swings between "yes/no"?
Then the answer is more complicated or is more along the lines of "maybe". Your best bet is to ask another question or rephrase your current one.
2- Intuiting the gender of an unborn baby. Place your penduluum above the center of the pregnant belly. Ask for the answer of the gender and tell the penduluum which way to swing for boy and girl. See which way it swings.
How accurate is this?
Personally I don't do pendulism. My sister has great results using the penduluum though.
3- Finding a lost item/person. Hold your penduluum over a map of the area you think the item or person may be. Concentrate and ask the penduluum to help locate and guide you. Pay attention to where it swings. Usually when you are getting close to the location the penduluum will start swirling in tight tiny circles over the location.

So how DOES pendulism work?
Well I'm not sure anyone really has THE one and only explanation on how it works. One theory is that the subconscious is usually drowned out by the conscious ( that's common knowledge) and that when you work with a penduluum the subconsious subtley sends the information you are seeking via tiny unnoticeable muscle spasms. Just enough to rock the penduluum into the right direction.
Others feel it is the Higher Self that is taking control and giving you the answer.
Still there are others who believe the answers are coming from guides or such via ( more or less) the same doorway.
One other thing about using penduluums.....you can tailor make them ( as well as any type of grids you wish to use). Say maybe using malachite in matters dealing with business and finances as an example.
