There are many ways to use stones and crystals. One way they can be used is fairly similar or as tarot only instead of cards with symbolism its stones with meanings. Mind you I am only listing the Major Arcana (those 22 cards) for correspondence with stones. If you wanted to have a full out stone Tarot deck ( including Court "cards") I would suggest finding 10 stones per suit in relation to their element and numbering them. I will leave a chart on that also to help out.
Here is a list of stones, the card they represent and the qualities to the stone.
** CARD/STONE Qualities, Meaning of Card
FOOL/ AGATE Strength, Courage, Love, Healing Starting on a new journey. Leaving previous concepts, precepts and other emotional or mental judgements and baggage behind. Curious seeker.
THE MAGICIAN / CRYSTAL ( QUARTZ) Power, Psychicism, Healing Taking action to make things happen.Using or discovering your personal power. Creative power and control. Ambition.
THE HIGH PRIESTESS/ EMERALD Mental Power,Psychism, Protection Intuition, Mysteries, hidden knowledge and wisdoms or influences. The subconscious.
THE EMPRESS/ TURQUOISE Protection, Love, Courage,Healing, Friendship Fertility, and abundance. Dealing with all aspects of the self as mind, body and spirit. Mother aspect. To nurture.
THE EMPEROR / RUBY Power and Wealth Leadership and Authority. To take responsibility for your own actions.

THE HANGED MAN / AQUAMARINE Psychism, Courage, Peace, Purifiaction Limbo. Sacrificining yourself ( conscious beliefs) to your Higher self. Letting go. Listening to the inner wisdom of the heart. Following what you truly believe in.
DEATH / AMBER Luck, Healing, Strength Change. Something must be let go for something new to begin.
TEMPERANCE /AMETHYST Dreams, Healing, Psychism, Peace, Courage, Happiness Self control and moderation. Staying safe but still willing to take risks. Learning to work with others.
THE DEVIL /BLACK TOURMALINE Grounding and repelling negativity Self indulgence. Temptation. Letting your desires control you. Letting others perceptions delegate who you are.
THE TOWER /LAVA Associated with the volcano which is all about disruptive and explosive change. Unexpected ground breaking change that can shatter you to your foundation. The good news is that this leaves you a clean slate and a better opportunity to see things clearer.
THE STAR /METEORITE Protection and Astral Projection Hope and understanding. Optimism. Clarity and understanding from a harmony of the conscious and subconsious working together.
THE MOON/ MOONSTONE Divination, Psychism, Sleep, Protection Intuiition and instinct. Listen to them as things may not be what they seem. Wildness and danger. Trying to keep your mind in tact.
