I found out an interesting little fact this last weekend. My asshole sister in law told my son that I'm a cross dressing Satan worshipper! I wear a kilt and I'm not Christian... I don't wear pants like Jesus did. He did wear pants, right? Damn. I could be wrong on that... Maybe he's going to Hell too for not wearing pants. I get so sick of the closed minded attitudes from her... My nephew has started to notice it, too. I listen to a local band called Angus Mohr. They're a Celtic rock outfit with a kick ass bagpiper, and my nephew said to me that he loves riding in my car so he can listen to them. Matt (their piper and a buddy of mine) wears kilts, and his mom doesn't like that or the fact that he plays the pipes. "You know how Mom is..." he said to me. I was just sitting here, wishing I could get my nephew Angus Mohr's Christmas CD, but I know it would just be a waste of money. Ah well... Maybe I'll get him a kilt in the US Army tartan (Mommy is an Army veteran, which is all the more confusing with her attitude towards the kilt... Last I checked, the modern variety is a military garment, and is worn by numerous military organizations around the world- including the US Marine Corp.)

Wait a minute...I thought all Christians were "cross" dressers!
Ah, but the pope doesn't count. In some Christian sects, Catholics are the next closest thing to Pagans!
So, to these few, Catholics are "not real Christians".
From a sociological perspective, the working definition that currently best fits defines "Christian" as "one who identifies oneself as Christian". Thus I would regard Latter-Day Saints and Jehovah's Witnesses as Christian, but not "Jews for Jesus" who identify themselves as Jewish.
/I would say that "semantics makes my head spin", but technically it is not making my head spin, but just engendering feelings of confusion.
//for the sarcasm-impaired, the preceding comment I intended as sarcasm.
Every Friday my friend and his Son wear their kilts-- his son is 11 now. Tell your nosy ass sister in law to stay the fuck out of your business and to watch what bullshit she tells your son.
