Merry meet to all! My name is Laura. I've just started studying paganism this year at age 25, though I truly think I've always been pagan as I've always had an emense respect for nature and all thing. I believe all things have souls or energy and growing up I remember not wanted to break branches or pull green leaves off trees because I thought it hurt them.
I went to my first Pagan meetup on Friday which is where I met Celtic Spider, who I admire for wearing her youth on her sleeve
At this time I am studying astral projection but soon will be indulging myself in books regarding ChristoPaganism. I beileve in balance (good/evil, God/Goddess, Dark/Light, and so on) and have found that my beliefs in God do not have to be comprimised. I need only to find/learn the balance in the Goddess
This is just my belief and do not intend to project this on anyone.
Oh I have a nifty thing to post then that may help you out with your pathfinding in the ChristoPaganism realm. Years ago someone posted their belief in how they merged their Christian beliefs with Wicca ( ChristoWiccan was the title this person went by).
I copied it. The author was anon ( so sad really as it is good info). The odd thing was not too long after it has been pulled from the Net. I could na find it ANYWHERE. However I do have a copy of it somewhere and I will see what I can do to post it.
Thanks for the intro and I hope you enjoy yourself here!

Hey Laura, thanks for sharing something about your belief system.
I have encountered a number of pagans over the years who firmly believe that you can't mix Christianity with Paganism. I've always wondered, "Why not?" Syncretism has always been a part of religious practice since ancient times. Its my impression that some Pagans feel threatened if they came from what they considered an abusive relationship with Christianity.....and
don't feel its appropriate for people to have one foot on both sides of the aisle...you either are Christian, or you are Pagan, not both.
I don't feel these people have a leg to stand on.
But in some circles, you can open yourself to ridicule if claim Christo-Paganism is possible.
