Hello i am Samhein the sammy cloud speaks of. I was his right hand in warcraft leading our band of merry vagrants. I can in no way claim to be a true pagan i was raised christian, in which i dont believe found it way to contradictory and overly judgemental, but im to say in the least intrigued and curious by what i have read and heard about the different "pagan" theologies. I guess you could say im still searching and had a hard time swallowing the one omnipitent vengeful but forgiving god mantra. To me it seems that the world consists of multiple forces, powers, gods which ever you like that seem to both act and counteract forming a balance. My wife Angelicdarma, who also just joined, has always been the more aware of the two of us. Our daughter is coming of age and asking all the outside the box questions that i found i cant answer because im not sure myself. If nothing else i hope to make many new friends and who knows maybe i will find the answers i have been looking for as fate has led me here.
Thanks for telling us something about yourself. Sometimes talking about ones religious beliefs is not an easy matter...not because it is shameful, but because sometimes it is hard to define what you believe, especially if you find yourself in a state of transition between faiths (or when your present path forks multiple times).
I don't think I ever defined myself on this forum, really. (cuz its not easy for me either, though I will be attending a meeting this weekend that will force me to reflect on why I have taken the path I have chosen so far, and explain it to others).
Hey Ba....I be at the same meeting. I doubt anyone be entertained by my statement " I believe in gravity"....I guess that does na count as a religious statement ( especially since someone recently just tried to tell me in some terms or another that gravity too is a matter that is subject to subjection under the right circumstances)....
Welcome aboard Sam!
CR is awezome ppl int he? I got to meet him several years ago ( and helped him make the most awesome impression on his new job when he moved out of state to it....ask him about the glitter).
Here on the forums you are bound to pick up a wide variety of opinions, practices, beliefs and more so I hope you (and yours) enjoy yourself (s) while you meander around here.
