The Noble Pagan Forums - Breaking News! Please pray for this child!

Falcon, a 6 year old boy climbed into a helium filled spaceship shaped balloon ( a halloween decoration however fully functional) and the anchor tether was let go.
He is in Denver Colorado currently. Up in the air. Fifty miles away from home at about 35 mph.
He's been up there for about 2 hours and could be up there even longer.
The national guard has been called in to assist.
I'm watching the local news coverage right now on local channel King 5 news.
Please pray for him. For his safety.
Poor child......
I know it sounds like a joke. This is not. It's a terrible misadventure for this child. Again I am watching the news coverage as I type.
He's about 6000ft up in the air.

Rapid decent.
It is now down to 500ft.
Half the balloon seems to be deflated.

Please light a candle for him. It looks like it may be a crash landing.......
They are estimating that it may be another 30 minutes before it lands....

Good news maybe?
No child was found. So one of two things has happened. A giant international joke or a severe tragedy.
I'm not sure how I even feel about this and I apologize for upsetting anybody.
Feel free to follow the news ( I am sure it will be plastered everywhere).

The only thing they know for sure at this point is the child is missing.

I saw it too. They were saying the little boy was in the part of the "ship" that was basically plywood and could not sustain any type of impact.

On the one hand I'm glad the little guy wasn't in there...but then if he isn't in the ship thingy then where is he?

That is exactly what I am thinking. Where is he?
I hope he is okay.
This is just mind blowing.
This is like watching a train wreck. I can't stop watching ( I just want him to be okay).

I hope they find this little boy.

None so far.
I had to turn it off ( my jaded husband was making remarks).
Last I saw it was just a recap of the same stuff over and over.
They swear the kid got in, however no kid was found in the thing nor anywhere in the home or on the property.
UGH! I hate suspense.
It looks pretty grim if there was more attached to that balloon....the Pollyanna in me is still crossing her fingers.
If they find a body I'm gonna end up bawling my stupid head off.
Just thinking about it is bringing me close to tears....

Well here are the options.

Kid never got in and is hiding somewhere cause maybe he is in deep doodoo.
I am hoping for that outcome ( at least he is safe).

Kid got in ( swears family member eyewitnesses) and yeah.....na good because there was no kid in the deflated balloon when it landed.

(unless the rescue team turned out to be complete morons and missed him altogether which so far has been ruled out).

*sighs*

I'm almost afraid to find out really.
