Okay so recently my backpain has come back. With a vengence. The docs canna find what is wrong ( I think it nerve pain in my vertebrae). So I was wondering to myself "Why now? Why is it acting up now?". At first I thought it was the change in weather ( cold weather makes all my boo-boo's act up). Then I realized since I quit smoking I have REALLY gone caffeine crazy.
Could caffeine agitate nerve pain?
So I went to go look into that.
Actually caffeine is supposed to help AGAINST nerve pain ( and that is why they use it in products with acetomeniphen as it is a peropherary analgelsic with anti-inflammatory qualities).
Really? Well it killin me!!!
Leave it to my body to react the WRONG way to stuff!!!!
So it looks like I gonna have to cut down and maybe even QUIT my .....beloved...CHERRY CHERRY COKE!!!!!
Have you tried an inversion table? My dad had mystery nerve pain in his back and got himself one of those, just lays on it upside down for 5 min a day and he's all set. No more achys.
I tried it and I didn't get a headache but you are upside down so the blood is rushing to your head . I guess if hanging upside down gives you a headache normally this would too but then what kind of a bat are you?
my mother had ears like a freakin bat ... you could just mouth something sassy to her ... without facing her ... and she'd freakin hear it ... then smack the taste outta yer mouth for it ... it was amazing ...
Dew used to be mah poison but then I switched to Cherry Coke.
As for an inversion table....I tink I pass on that one. I can see my kids tryin to have fun with that one ( and something tells me I would never get my daughter off of it).
No I know it na tension causing it. I dunno what it is. I had this problem for MONTHS and I finally went in when it was unbearable. Nothing showed up on xray so they gave me tramadol ( does shit for me as well as naproxen and ibuprofren just eats holes in me tummy and do na tell my about tylenol or other OTCs....). Said "you can try phys therapy" but I been that route before.
I figgered fugger it.....
Anyways I had cut down on my caffeine intake at the time and thought nothing of it as the back pain dissipated ( I figgered it made sense that it was dissapearing with no reason as it showed up for no reason either).
Well recently the same pain is back. Really bad. And like I said I was thinking to myself "what could have done it?" and it hit me. I have REALLY been at the caffeine bit lately.....so I think if I get rid of that horse too I should be fine.
I remember when I first moved to Northern Virginia...I moved in late winter, and around March I came down with terrible case of pain in my joints.
The doctor prescribed tylenol laced with codeine. That made the pain go away real fast!
Sadly, they they refused to give me more than one refill!!!!
The reason for the pain, not determined, but I figure it was because of two causes, moving from a dry climate to a wet climate, and I had just started my first professional job which involved sitting at a desk/in front of a computer for hours at a time.
(And it was also probably stress...moving 2300 miles away from home can do that to you).
