I don't celebrate this holiday but I do cook for it because...well I enjoy feeding people. This year though, due to financial strain, I made stuffed shells and pumpkin icecream pie.

Early bed for me tonight as I must rush out tomorrow to do some X-mas shopping

Thanks, C! We stuffed ourselves with Drunk Turkey, baby red mashed potatoes, praline sweet potatoes, garlic green beans, Hawaiian rolls, and stuffing. Now we are digesting before enjoying some pumpkin praline eggnog rum pie, chocolate pecan pie, and apple raspberry crisp!

Just about to dig into some Turkey with stuffing, olives, mashed sweet potatoes with butter n brown sugar, mashed taters, carrots, my green bean casserole (topped with cheese of course), multi grain rolls, eggnog, carrots, fruit cocktail, and pumpkin pie.

Yums!

And I am almost done with a very cute first try at making a mousey looking purse.......most of it was done while making my company succumb to the awesomeness that is The Forbin Project.

If ever our Country succumbs totally to the idea of having a supercomputer run everything autonomously and independently from human assistance or intervention...........

"We can co-exist....but only on MY terms......"

Happy stuffyourfacefulloffoodday ya'll!

I'm sorry to hear that hun.

I can totally relate to missing out on family fun with holidays (I'm a military spousal unit).

Yeah he would have enjoyed the family time. no drama from ex-sister in law. Plus, it seems that some of my family is loosening up. But he needed his sleep. =P
