I would like to humbly request that each and everyone who is a member of TNP and believes in what we are trying to accomplish to please drop one link to us (http://noblepagan.com) on the other sites you frequent. I'm not asking anyone to spam anywhere, just a simple single nod to the site.
That one link will multiply and we'll gain more people with more knowledge and experience and others that are looking, and overall we will be better for it. I would be greatly appreciative to those that do this for us.
I would like to see TNP become a name that is recognized simply by the name among the pagan community again, and I have been working towards making that happen on the search engines. We are succeeding very well in that department. In fact I'm about two weeks ahead of the goal schedule I set to have this accomplished. So now that that has been accomplished I will be much more active on the front end of the site with viewpoints, blog updates and other things. Now is the time where the fun starts for me and hopefully for everyone who is here now.
However, as active as I will be on the site now that the back-end is finished, having a one-sided conversation with myself and the staff gets kind of boring.
That said, I'm going to put up a little game for you all. That is, who can write the best, most replied, and most informative threads each week. You will all be voting for the threads that you find informative and helpful. At the end of each week, the voting will close and the top three threads (chosen by you the users) will receive the honors, and the thread starter will get a nice little ribbon to display on their posts until the next week.
On the day before our newsletter deadline the staff and I will peruse the winners over the last month and will choose the top three threads from those threads and they will be mentioned with links to the author and the threads themselves in our newsletter, and those authors will get a ribbon to display in their postbit as well (the difference being that those ribbons will stay around for the entire month).
Eventually I want to turn the incentives into something abit more tangible, but that will have to wait until I have the shop up and running. The plan right now is that thread of the week/month winners will get a discount on items from the shop on checkout.
I look forward to having some very interesting conversations with you all in the very near future.
Nope, certain areas we have monitored to avoid any potential issues. The posts get approved fairly quickly. At least you aren't getting tagged as spam like Spider lady does .
It's true....apparently I was written by the same programmer who made spambots because my emails go directly to junk/spam mail and my posts with links get flagged as spam.
A lot.
Nothing like BEING a mod and then being told a MOD has to MOD your posts before they are aired.....
