Do you ever wonder if a fat person is really comfortable in their position as comedy relief in a movie? <---( such as the going on 300 pound cheerleader who is the top of an obvious to fail pyramid)
Do you ever wonder what it is like to play in an empty parking lot at night?
If you have before do you miss the mystique and echoes?
Have you ever watched the trees blow in the gentle breeze and thought of sea anemones?
Or nerve endings?
Or the circulatory system at play?
Have you ever watched a plane lazily fly over head and think of a slow content shark?
Why is it so wrong to hang out in graveyards?
Why is nubile and socially consensual standardized ( aka model quality by the mass populace standards) tolerable ( or enjoyable) to watch yet octegenarian, limbless, heightly "capable" ,and other offshoots ( aside from child and animal for OBVIOUS reasons) porn is considered weird or despicable? <----( do people stop having the desire to have sex because they are old, deformed, limbless, short, etc?)
How disconnected does a person have to be in order to approach another lifeform that cannot express "no" verbally for intimate or sexual contact?
If you are a sensualist could intentional "non intimate" contact( to give/recieve pleasure physically via touch that would not ordinarily be considered sexual or intimate contact such as holding hands, rubbing a shoulder, sitting close to another, offering a non private parts massage, brushing hair out of the face of another etc) with another be considered a type of non-sexual, however totally sensual breach in relationship with your current partner?
How does it make you feel to pray for inane bacteria to grow, and it does accordingly?
Or that perhaps your thoughts can even affect the quality of water or food you ingest?
Is it scary? Powerful? Thought process inducing? Run of the mill normal? Poppycock?
Why is it that ( for the most part) when a total stranger cuts us off on the highway we are infuriated, however if later we find out it was a close ( like able) friend or relative it is laughable and even forgive able?
Have you ever played "Ghost Tag" in the fog?
If not is it too late to start now?
When the bottom of the mists and the tops of the forests meet do you ever wonder who is reaching for who?
And no....the run of the mill answer of" they are both reaching for each other" does not count simply because someone always starts the action first even if it is only nanoseconds apart.....so who do you suppose is the lead?
What is your personal definition of "unfunny"?
Have you ever tried a dollop of vegetable soup broth in your milk or visa versa?
Do you put milk in your tea?
What is the difference ( if answered in the way that this would make sequential sense)?
( Does that make sense)?
If you are not vegetarian, then why is it okay to eat pig but not a kindergartener ( they are both intelligent lifeforms allegedly at a similar if not same intelligence level)?
Eat the pig but save the dolphin ( don't eat a horse or dog though)....why?
Cats are cute and millipedes are ugly.....but why?
Don't all animals have some sort of sentience and personality?
Did you know that some anitbiotics are so good at their job that they actually kill off the critters in your stomach?
Did you know you had critters in your stomach (and eyelashes and skin too)?
You could actually get sick and not be able to digest without some of those critters....so in order to aid that did you know that you may have to intentionally add critters ( they come with carrot extract too) to your diet so you can do what was supposed to be a natural function?
Is a natural function only considered thus if most of the population has that ability ( hence making the ability to digest undigestables an unnatural quality if it were to kill of most off the population, however does that not contradict itself as the person who has that ability obviously survives thereby proving a natural or Nature Approved state)?
Are you sure we are seeing the same shade of blue?
Which one of us is right?
Why do we assume bathrooms are dirtier than any other room in the house when in fact, because we know what they are used for we diligently take extra care and precision in their maintenance?
Wouldn't that make it the cleanest room in the house then?
If not then what does that say about your diligence?
Nature inspires people.....did you know Nature invented the first microwave?
And neon sign? <---( and if you are just thinking fireflies you haven't seen how diverse Nature can be when using neon like ploys)
People tend to consider animals "dumb" or lower lifeforms however how long do you suppose people would last in the same wild conditions?
Do you suppose "emotions" could be a detrimental genetic mutation that will lead to the eventual demise of our species ? (<----come on people how many of us have bred out of love and not "best interest in our future populace...?)
Or do you suppose "emotions" make us superior ( even if there is a remarkable decline in strong genetic stock)?
Do you believe that Deity has a strong sense of humour?
Do you ever wonder if a fat person is really comfortable in their position as comedy relief in a movie?
Being of ample rotundness myself, I have often wondered this, especially about people like Chris Farley or John Candy. I also feel like the Nutty Professor movies (a scrawny Eddie Murphy playing obese characters) are in poor taste.

I was on a longish (9 mile) walk this Sunday, and some of my companions for the journey opted to cut through the Washelli Cemetary; I personally was nervous with this (why? I have no clue) but drew the line when the rest of the group decided to go traipsing across the lawn; I and two others stayed on the paved paths. I guess it has to do with honoring the memories of the dead, even though I've never known anyone personally who is buried there.

Well, thanks to the Internet, a lot of people who previously thought "I must be the only one interested in this" have found that they are not alone. There does seem to be more of a shift from plastic fantasies to fantasies based on real people, in all their diverse splendor.

There are no shortage of severely disconnected people. That said, sexual imprinting happens at a certain point in our development, regardless of our circumstances at the time; those circumstances largely shape our preferences.

If one hasn't discussed this with one's partner(s), I would make this a priority, BEFORE engaging in such actions. Prior Permission covers a multitude of sins.

Because with a friend, there is a context to the persons actions that help us make sense of us. With a stranger, the actions seem "random".

I am just bigoted towards other species. I am a human supremacist.

We should be more concerned about the ones who aren't killed off; that is how super-resistant strains develop; Darwin in action.

I have difficulty sometimes with how others use the word "natural" as dichotomous to "man-made". I believe man is part of nature; therefore atom bombs are just as natural as anthills.

Bathrooms are ritually unclean. It is a religious belief, not a scientific one. It just happens to be a fairly popular religious belief.

So far as a species, we've lasted for at least 10,000 years.

Sorry to all the wannabe Vulcans, but I think breeding is a function of food supply, not of emotion or lack thereof.

Nice ice-breaking questions, there.

I love playing out at night. There is something almost naughty about it even if you are behaving yourself. Like you are doing something wrong just because most people are at home asleep.

No, but I have thought about it crashing in fiery flames. Not because I am morbid, but because I watch a lot of movies. Sometimes I just think of the movie Airplane and people think I'm nits because I am suddenly giggling for no apparent reason.

I would be totally uncomfortable with Jon holding hands or being otherwise intimate in non-sexual ways with another person. Of course, this stems from being raised in an abusive environment where love wasn't very clear. So to be able to distinguish my relationship with a partner from all other relationships, I tend to be quite strict on what interactions are ok.

I wouldn't feel different in this situation. I would be just as upset if someone who knows me cut me off. Everyone who knows me understands exactly how much I value my car. In other words, they know better!

No. I think its in poor taste when movies place the larger folks as the comedy relief. But then again, fat, skinny, round, square, most aren't comfortable in their skin.

Because to admit our perversion or crude curiosity is to be shameful...or so people think. I'm happy to be HUMAN and have perfectly HUMAN questions no matter how crude they are.
[quote=CelticSpider;6306]How disconnected does a person have to be in order to approach another lifeform that cannot express "no" verbally for intimate or sexual contact?[/QUOTES]
It happens, but who is to say they aren't disconnected but rather just uncaring of the other persons feelings? When I think 'disconnected' I think of someone that lacks the ability to pick up on silent 'no'.

If its not sexual or leading up to something that is considered cheating/adultry...hell no! Its alright with me ^_^. I'm a proud sensualist!

I am sorry that I am short of words though it was very close to home after talking with the CS in person. Many things I agree with like the trees and bias of fat people in movies and how they feel. Its rather disturbing on things that you take for granted.
"Do you ever wonder if a fat person is really comfortable in their position as comedy relief in a movie?"--CelticSpider
I been been thinking about this a little. I think that some people who are larger are just as uncomfortable with being bigger, just as the "twig" is as uncomfortable as not being skinny enough. Some people, just don't care. Some people have a true medical problem causing them to be large, fat, or skinny; there isn't a whole that can be done. UNLESS, you have enough money to have all the tests done, shrinks, time or the money to see what works for them. Then the greats like Farley (sp), that are totally comfortable with themselves. NO MATTER WHAT THEIR SIZE. They make fun of themselves, laugh, because it either helps them cope. OR MAYBE THROW IT THE OTHER PERSONS FACE. Hrmmmm...This my friends, pisses them off. Because they are trying to make them feel better about themselves, because they have to make someone else feel like shit.
"Do you ever wonder what it is like to play in an empty parking lot at night?"-CelticSpider
I haven't found that playing in where in the dark is just as fun. It can be mystical, enchanting and just simplicity at it's best.
"If you have before do you miss the mystique and echoes?"--CelticSpider
Yes. I have ignore them for awhile. I have know that they have been always around, laying in wait and patient. Just waiting for me to come around/back or just plain wake up again. I have started listening again, only I have to wait again for the spring. (Because it is just to cold to stay outside too long.)
"Have you ever watched the trees blow in the gentle breeze and thought of sea anemones?"--CelticSpider
NOt so much in those terms per se. But I love to watch the wind blow across, the corn fields, grain, prairie grass, it looks like ocean waves.
To watch a fire, in a controlled environment without those destructive tendencies, and be content and watch the fire dance. And the smoke billow at the top, as it rises.
"Or nerve endings?"
"Or the circulatory system at play?"---CelticSpider
I haven't thought about it, but I see where you are going with this one...
"Have you ever watched a plane lazily fly over head and think of a slow content shark?"--CelticSpider
Not in these terms per se, but as man's curiosity and wanting to fly with the birds. Like a free spirit. But also, the fear and phobias many people have about leaving the ground, and how to deal with that. I can see the content shark, as the plane is failing from the sky coming back to the ground.....you know what is about to happen. But strangely, you can feel the peace and beauty in this.
"Why is it so wrong to hang out in graveyards?"--CelticSpider
It depends on the intent of the visit. (Simply put.)
"Why is nubile and socially consensual standardized ( aka model quality by the mass populace standards) tolerable ( or enjoyable) to watch yet octegenarian, limbless, heightly "capable" ,and other offshoots ( aside from child and animal for OBVIOUS reasons) porn is considered weird or despicable? <----( do people stop having the desire to have sex because they are old, deformed, limbless, short, etc?)"----CelticSpider
Because it's what that organized church, said was ok and what wasn't. It you do that, you're going the hell. Fear and terrorism at it's best. Look at a few passages in the Christian or rather the interpretation, of what "they" only what people to see. Scaring people not to have sex and to enjoy it etc. It's a morale sin if you do. NOw if you look at Judaism. BE fruitful and multiply. Whether it is to have children, the ritual/spirituality of interaction with your mate/soul mate/spouse, or to simply enjoy it.
"How disconnected does a person have to be in order to approach another lifeform that cannot express "no" verbally for intimate or sexual contact?"--CelticSpider
That is just so wrong in so many ways. Just unnatural, if you will. I can't wrap my head around it.
"If you are a sensualist could intentional "non intimate" contact( to give/recieve pleasure physically via touch that would not ordinarily be considered sexual or intimate contact such as holding hands, rubbing a shoulder, sitting close to another, offering a non private parts massage, brushing hair out of the face of another etc) with another be considered a type of non-sexual, however totally sensual breach in relationship with your current partner?"--CelticSpider
This sums up Sammy and our relationship. We express ourselves and or hug, kiss (on the cheeks), and some intimate contact with some very close friends. (That some people would find unkosher. But it is an understanding between us and our friends.) But god forbid, someone else from the outside try to do this...that is not ok. Plus, we are not committing adultery. This would be a sin in a lot of different religions and faiths. And we all know this.
"How does it make you feel to pray for inane bacteria to grow, and it does accordingly?"--CelticSpider
I have done this. Especially if both parties can benefit from the others existence.
"Or that perhaps your thoughts can even affect the quality of water or food you ingest?"--CelticSpider
THis explains how you can feel so bad or "unhealthy" after you eat a greasy, deep-fried Chicken sandwich. But eat a healthy salad, with grilled chicken and you feel a thousand time better.
"Is it scary? Powerful? Thought process inducing? Run of the mill normal? Poppycock?"--CelticSpider
Thought process inducing.... Powerful.....and meaningful......
"Why is it that ( for the most part) when a total stranger cuts us off on the highway we are infuriated, however if later we find out it was a close ( like able) friend or relative it is laughable and even forgive able?"--CelticSpider
It is NOT ok, in any situation. This is what I need to work on. I am calm and collected, in all other situations. But as of late, I am pissed off at these people, mad at their ignorance more than anything else. Why am I wasting my energy on them???!!??
"Have you ever played "Ghost Tag" in the fog?"--CelticSpider
NO, but this would be fun. And I know, where you are going with this.
"If not is it too late to start now?"--CelticSpider
NO. But I am mad at myself, for now figuring this out sooner. I have a lot of thing to learn, catch up on fast....so I can teach my daughter and help her find her path>>>As well as mine.
"When the bottom of the mists and the tops of the forests meet do you ever wonder who is reaching for who?"--CelticSpider
This is an amazing site...the Smoking mountain ridge comes to mind around North Carolina and Kentucky......
"What is your personal definition of "unfunny"?"--CelticSpider
Someone who is making fun of and/or being hurtful at someone else expense.
"Have you ever tried a dollop of vegetable soup broth in your milk or visa versa?"---CelticSpider
Not on purpose, usually by accident. And it turns out to not be half bad....
"If you are not vegetarian, then why is it okay to eat pig but not a kindergartener ( they are both intelligent lifeforms allegedly at a similar if not same intelligence level)?"--CelticSpider
"Eat the pig but save the dolphin ( don't eat a horse or dog though)....why?"--CelticSpider
I find fault with both of these ideologies. Some cultures find it ok to eat the flesh of another human, animal (dog, horse, cat, cow, pig), and/or plants. But it is TABOO in another....
I feel healthier per se eating plants, and/or animals fish or cow.....If I could use the whole plant and/or animal, to not take their spirit in vane. To honor the spirit of said plant or animal, if you will....
"Cats are cute and millipedes are ugly.....but why?"--CelticSpider
I find all creatures cute or beautiful...some may take some more time to find the beauty. Once you do, it will be that much more intense. That old adage....don't judge a book by it's cover.
"Are you sure we are seeing the same shade of blue?"--CelticSpider
Yes and no.....But most times no. Is that glass half full or empty? Same concept.
"People tend to consider animals "dumb" or lower lifeforms however how long do you suppose people would last in the same wild conditions?"--CelticSpider
NOt very long, not very long at all. Those that are more in tune with nature etc..and the true survivors.....
"Do you suppose "emotions" could be a detrimental genetic mutation that will lead to the eventual demise of our species ? (<----come on people how many of us have bred out of love and not "best interest in our future populace...?)"--CelticSpider
Some people just shouldn't have any children or offspring. that is all.
"Or do you suppose "emotions" make us superior...."---CelticSpider
Depends how said person uses those "emotions", good or evil...to better themselves or to better someone else just out of pure love, kindness....
"Do you believe that Deity has a strong sense of humour?"--CelticSpider
It depends on the situation....=P
THose are just a few of the things I have been pondering. And this post, puts many things back into perspective. An I THANK YOU CELTIC...and for those that have read this far.
Quite honestly I was really surprised to see how many ppl answered this post! LOL! I was just rambling some of the many things that I think of.....
So I figger it only be fair if too share my own answers
Do you ever wonder if a fat person is really comfortable in their position as comedy relief in a movie? <---( such as the going on 300 pound cheerleader who is the top of an obvious to fail pyramid)
Honestly I don't know. I've known non weight zone ( fat or skinny) people who were embarrassed and laughed it up to hide the pain and I've known those who are proud of their shape.
Do you ever wonder what it is like to play in an empty parking lot at night?
No. I used to do it all the time. I love parking lots at night.
If you have before do you miss the mystique and echoes?
Yes
Have you ever watched the trees blow in the gentle breeze and thought of sea anemones?
Yes
Or nerve endings? And synapses too.
Or the circulatory system at play? I like to imagine they are the branches behind the eyes....
Have you ever watched a plane lazily fly over head and think of a slow content shark? Sometimes they seem to be searching....I've always wanted to see a smaller plane attached to the bigger one....so I could imagine it to be a Remora
Why is it so wrong to hang out in graveyards? I don't think it is so long as you are not there to destroy things. Graveyards are quiet and no one judges you or bothers you (much). I miss the moonlight........
<----( do people stop having the desire to have sex because they are old, deformed, limbless, short, etc?) Because people are shallow intolerable assholes. How disconnected does a person have to be in order to approach another lifeform that cannot express "no" verbally for intimate or sexual contact?
Sadly.....very and sadly more sometimes not at all.
Adultery (IMO) is only considered cheating because most people see sexual intercourse as the penultimate intimacy exchange system ( he is in her and she envelopes him all in one movement). I disagree. Sex is whatever you make of it. Nature just wants the genes to go on. As for sex relationship....that is convoluted and can be intimate or robotic.
Sensuality though is a touch, taste, FEEL, breathe....where you don't have to be naked to be exposed. Your reaction is vulnerability enough in itself ( and there lays the intimacy).
So yes. I'd be quicker to forgive my husband for fucking a whore than for massaging one. Because the massage would mean more to him than the act of sex.
How does it make you feel to pray for inane bacteria to grow, and it does accordingly?
I have no feelings on this.
Or that perhaps your thoughts can even affect the quality of water or food you ingest?
Makes total sense.
Is it scary? Powerful? Thought process inducing? Run of the mill normal? Poppycock?
It is what it is. Much like a car will stop when you put on the brakes.
Why is it that ( for the most part) when a total stranger cuts us off on the highway we are infuriated, however if later we find out it was a close ( like able) friend or relative it is laughable and even forgive able?
Asshole drivers are asshole drivers regardless of who they are.
Have you ever played "Ghost Tag" in the fog?
Yes. I miss the fog.
If not is it too late to start now?
Never too late to try something new.
When the bottom of the mists and the tops of the forests meet do you ever wonder who is reaching for who?
I generally see it as the trees reaching up and out, longing for the freedom......sometimes I see the mists reaching down trying to give a hug of comfort to the Rooted Ones.
What is your personal definition of "unfunny"?
When something strikes you as so discordantly funny that it hurts. Unfunny is a great way to have hysterics ( that blurred line where no one including the self, can tell if the reaction is crying from laughter or laughing to stop the pain as the tears come pouring out).
Have you ever tried a dollop of vegetable soup broth in your milk or visa versa? I love doing that. Do you put milk in your tea?
Not really. I hardly drink to begin with.
What is the difference ( if answered in the way that this would make sequential sense)?
None. You are mixing two things that don't normally come packaged near each other.
( Does that make sense)?
Of course it does. I asked it.
If you are not vegetarian, then why is it okay to eat pig but not a kindergartener ( they are both intelligent lifeforms allegedly at a similar if not same intelligence level)?
I'd eat either.
Eat the pig but save the dolphin ( don't eat a horse or dog though)....why?
They call him Flipper...Flipper smothered in BBQ.......
Cats are cute and millipedes are ugly.....but why?
Peoples upbringing.
Don't all animals have some sort of sentience and personality? Personality sure. Sentience no. I have met some animals that couldna outswim a brick. Did you know that some anitbiotics are so good at their job that they actually kill off the critters in your stomach?
Yes. Was so fascinating to find that out at the time.
Did you know you had critters in your stomach (and eyelashes and skin too)?
Yup.
You could actually get sick and not be able to digest without some of those critters....so in order to aid that did you know that you may have to intentionally add critters ( they come with carrot extract too) to your diet so you can do what was supposed to be a natural function?
This was NOT as fascinating to find out as it was from painful and personal experience that I learned this from.
Is a natural function only considered thus if most of the population has that ability ( hence making the ability to digest undigestables an unnatural quality if it were to kill of most off the population, however does that not contradict itself as the person who has that ability obviously survives thereby proving a natural or Nature Approved state)?
What is natural? I really don't know anymore. Anymore I doubt Nature does either.
Are you sure we are seeing the same shade of blue?
Possibly. If we are though are we in agreeance as to its proper name?
Which one of us is right?
I suggest a game of rock paper scissors for this one.
Why do we assume bathrooms are dirtier than any other room in the house when in fact, because we know what they are used for we diligently take extra care and precision in their maintenance?
Probably because we have seen the less diligently taken care of ones.
Wouldn't that make it the cleanest room in the house then?
Not for some.
If not then what does that say about your diligence?
Nappy people.
Nature inspires people.....did you know Nature invented the first microwave? This would be the Japanese Honey Bee. It's only defense against the Japanese Hornet is to group thug it and then microwave it with body heat.
And neon sign? <---( and if you are just thinking fireflies you haven't seen how diverse Nature can be when using neon like ploys) There is a type of Venezuelan spider that deliberately weaves thick lightening bolts into its webs to attract food. Insects see in ultraviolet and to them the lightening bolts look like neon flower bits. They think they are getting a bite to eat at Joe's Diner so to speak....the joke is on them though. People tend to consider animals "dumb" or lower lifeforms however how long do you suppose people would last in the same wild conditions?
Christopher McCandless survived 112 days before having starve to death...on the edge of a National Forest. People are such amusing creatures.
Do you suppose "emotions" could be a detrimental genetic mutation that will lead to the eventual demise of our species ? (<----come on people how many of us have bred out of love and not "best interest in our future populace...?)
Breed for quality. Screw love. That's my next life mantra.
Or do you suppose "emotions" make us superior ( even if there is a remarkable decline in strong genetic stock)?
Emotions make us fun, entertaining and an endless conveyor belt in dissapointment.
Do you believe that Deity has a strong sense of humour?
O yes. VERY much so.
In which direction?
Mutlidirectional. Because Deity can do that. Being all Deitiful and what na.
Well folks I hope you enjoyed my answers. I enjoyed yours.
