Oh my my!
I just can't believe that Sweet Pea is a poisonous ( to ingest) flower!
Let me back track here.
I LOVE Morning Glory ( when I am not weeding it out).
I LOVE Foxglove!
I LOVE Sweet Pea!
They are all POISONOUS though! Mind you I found out in increments about their properties......
To top it off my last house had Woody Nightshade, Blue Nightshade and Foxglove in the yard. To REALLY top it off THIS house came with Woody Nightshade and Foxglove. There is Sweet Pea out back in the alley and Morning Glory all over my fences......I don't think Holly is good for you either......About the only non-toxic things I do have growing about are my Bearded Irises ( planted by me), the Hawthorn Tree ( came with the house), Blackberries ( yup...with the house) and Golden Plum Tree ( a veritable garden my house has come with). Oh yeah and the Fennel. I forgot about the Fennel and Swiss Chard...........( previous owner was a gardener mayhaps?).
I just wanna know why I end up with all the deadlies......
Does anyone else have an odd magnetic attraction to particular kinds of plants?

Sounds like ye too have the BLACK THUMB! I'm in that boat too.
Try these plants ( the only ones to survive me awhile):
Spider Plants
Pileas Birdsnest ( just keep near sunlight....forgives you if you forget to water it or if it gets too cold)
Wandering Jew ( I didna name it)
And for outdoors Bearded Irises. You can cut them to pieces and ignore them all you like, as long as the bulb ( the part under the dirt) stays in tact everything else will regenerate.
Other than that......yeah. They all die on me. Even the Top Three I just names. Sad stuff no?
I've even had a cactus die on me. Though it did hold out a lot longer than the others :p So far Spanish Moss seems to not die around me...but then, who can really tell with that one?
Yup. Sign of the black thumb. I've had SEVERAL cacti die on me. Funny enough though.....I've managed to have BIRDSEED sprout IN MY BASEMENT being fed no sunlight and only laundary detergent water ( that leaked from my washer).
When I collected the poor sprouts and transplanted them outside ( where it was actually a conducive environment for the sunflowers in the batch to thrive) they ALL died.

Oh me too! I can't keep ANYTHING (plant life) alive!!!! The cool thing when the cactus died I just made sure it stood and it passed off as still being alive LOL. I want to start a little herb garden next spring, but I dunno if it would be fair to those poor plants LOL. I am braving a tomato plant tho... wish me luck... if ti lives there will deffiantly be myspace pics LOL
