So I was on FaceBook ( yes...it IS evil....so addicting though) and someone dropped a link about a couple who wanted to adopt up to two children...as long as they were not "dark skinned".
One, this country and world needs to check themselves in a few different ways.
WE (meaning all of us) or they need to stop doing things to encourage racism of all forms. It has gotten to the point that there is either a hidden agenda or a lot of propaganda going on; we are suppose to be embracing diversity and differences (love thy neighbor etc etc etc) not promoting reverse racism or making "differences" an issue. (Making a mole hill out of an ant hill.)
This country and world, have become "sue happy", you have to be politically right, you can't offend anyone, you can't hurt anyone's "feelings" or you can't be yourself; OMG because that might offend somebody. IE...I can't or am not suppose to wear my hubby's Clutch t-shirt to work. Because it has the word "BEER" on it. /le sight
This couple is open to taking whatever child race or creed just not a darker complexion. This is double edge sword....
On one hand, I can see where the court might have an issue with it. Because they are covering their own, have to follow all the laws etc etc, god forbid someone catch wind of this if they accepted the application. Did someone say lawsuit and/or suit? You know, why earn a paycheck when you can have it served on a silver platter? (I am being sarcastic. I mean no offense or bad will.) And if this were to fly, there are a lot of unfit people out there that should not be parents to raise and mold little peoples mind. We are taking true racists. The judges or whoever made this decision look at all sides, however they have to appease the masses.
On another hand, the parents could live in an closed minded community, and could honestly be protecting the child lives and feels from the hurtful sayings etc...from that type of environment.
Is this couple truly racist? I dun know. There are a lot of details missing, and this could be something to get the "NEWS" stirring some more negative energy and misinformation.
Now for something to ponder, now if this couple going to honestly teach these kids about their heritage, background, and be honestly willing to let these kids worship another religion and/or faith. Truly encourage these kids to be themselves or to mold more sheep??!!?? If they are going to be open minded, loving people and worry about how the kids might be treated and/or their emotional scares, if their community is not open to a multiracial family??
Then who is to say that these people are an "unsuitable" parents, if they want to somewhat selective when adopting a child(ren)?? Is it natural to let a "same" sex couple adopt a child? (Not judging, just making a point.) Isn't this the same thing? A family is a family, no matter how different or threatening that maybe to some people.
I am not going to say it is right or wrong. You have to look at all sides. And that story, left a lot out. I need to see a picture of these people, see them in the courtroom when that ruling was read and/or meet them before I can make a decision one way or another. I need know what their true intentions were/are when they made that statement. It may or may not have been "mean spirited"
It depends, if you adopt kids of a different culture, some people - including me - feel obligated to raise them with some knowledge of that culture. If that is their intent, and they don't think they could do it, their concern is justified. If it's just the old racist skin color routine - well. Racism never dies.
Maybe it's all a misunderstanding. It can happen. YouTube- No AsiansWatch it all the way through before taking the hump...
There is only one race of humans and that is the human race. Any differences are just cosmetic or cultural. Maybe if we all worked together we could build a better world... or at least have a chance at taking down our evil reptilian illuminati overlords.
hi everyone,
You all had good points, and I tend to agree with alot of them. The world we are living in now, is full of anger (no jobs), haterate, ( you look differnt n speak different then I), depression, stress (am I going to loose everything I build, inc goverment), violents (I want what they have and don't know how to get it), well you all get the point.
The first thing I noticed when I came to this counrty is Mickey Mouse law (make it up as we need it n controdictory), racism against all, I mean IF we all would look deep enough into our own falmilie tree, it might surprise u what one can find.
Now , in my own observation thru the years and alot of travel around the world, I found that ppl are all the same, no matter where you go. Guess what, looking at it from a real simple point of few ( a childs few), They don't see what color u are, they see a playmate, they can comunicate no matter what language one speaks , thru play!
We all need to eat, we need sheleter, we need water n clothing,we all make babies the same way, we ALL bleed red, and live and then we die, we are all guest on this planted...and ALL of our bones are White.
In my humble opinion if someone want to adoped a child for what ever reason, it should NOT matter what color, race nationalty they are, it should only matter if they are willing to LOVE that child as it was their own. All kids want is just that someone that loves and have a falmilie!
There will come a day, when ALL of humanity will need one another in order to survive lets hope that we all will wake up B4 that time comes, so we can beginn again, and maybe, just maybe we get it right then!!!!
We are all here to learn lifes lessions, and we all forget that some times, I sure hope that future generations will get all of caos we live in now right!
