Two of some of the most exspencive hobbies joined together as one! Get this, I don't have enough money for either of them.
I collect Kimonos which is pretty hard since I only have two or three sources that sell decent affordable kimonos. If you don't know what a Kimono is, it is a Japanese robe garment that both men and women wore. They are very exspencive, but very beautiful. But you just can't buy rice and not have a bowl to eat it with. So along with the robe like garment I have to get a obi (the Belt), Geta (The sandels/shoes), and lots more tools that coast even more money Once you have one, you always want just one more. Then your money flies out from your wallet.
Sewing is the same way. You want to make something yourself, then fabric is about the coast of a heart and kidney. I'm defently looking at a dark and moneyless future. But I love it. So I'm going to wear as much kimonos and make as many costumes as I want till I'm living in a box begging peeps for cloth to make my newest costume...

Yes, some pics of the kimonos would be absolutely lovely. Most of us here are huge into Japanese culture and I know that the pics would be greatly admired and appreciated!
...... You know you want to Hook a Sista up with your friends aunt or whatever.... Riiiiiiiiight?
Good news!
I'm sewing the costumes for the school play, Midnight Summers Dream! Including me own! I'll get pictures of that when I can
Also we have a Cafe Fun Raiser on friday! So I'll be wearing my Yukata Kimono, since my theatre teacher said
"OMG!!!! YOU ACTURALLY HAVE ONE!!! WEAR IT MY CUTE LADY BUG! WEAR IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" <= And I quote
So I'll get some pictures! ^^ You'll see my pride and joy for ye selves! Whooooooooooo!
And I'm sewing my very first Traditional African wedding robe! Since the Seamstress I'm training under is very into her tradition and heratage, she encouraged me to take on this project. She said it is imprtant to step outside your own coulture and step into another.
Sooooooooooooooo many projects
There is also another hobby I forgot to add in. Japanese Tea Sets and Bowls! Another money grabbing, stealing, blackmailing hobby!
If this keeps up, I'll never own my first buisness shop

Well you could always build your collection to ridiculous levels ( which you are working on anyways right?) and then make bank by charging admission to your kimono and tea set exhibits....
I buy books....I have this compulsion to always be reading something. So once I get done with what I'm reading I go to B&N and pick up another one. Normally this wouldn't be expensive....but when you read through six books a month or more...well...you get the picture.
