I have been thinking......this may be long. I will try to keep it short(er). Disclaimer: I am sick. My head hurts with all this sinus pressure etc. My thoughts aren't the clearest right now.
I am somewhat a healthy person. Yeah I am bit over weight, I have a sloooow metabolism. But that could, be somewhat related. But for the most part I get sick from a few select things. Hay fever like allergies, but apparently I am not allergic to any thing. The allergy specialist said that I have an ultra/uber sensitive nose/sinuses, that mirror allergies symptoms.
Or it's a simple cold (but mainly sinus), the flu (the nasty strings normally, don't get the flu often) or a sinus infection, if it is really bad, it may lead to bronchitis or walking pneumonia or threatened to by hospitalized with pneumonia if it doesn't get better or I don't slow down and rest.
I work in a "toxic" building or environment at work in more ways than one. There is a lot of dust being circulated in the ducts or when the air is running (which is seems to be running non stop for the last week now. I have been paying attention. Not sure if they are trying to blow out the ducts to rid the dust, which I thought they couldn't do while people were working in the building. I could be wrong.) Plus, it is an extremely stressful work environment, in many ways. Plus, the building is near the airport and National Guard airbase, and near I-90.....I am thinking the exhaust or pollution may be making me sick too. Plus, there is a lot of negativity all around work and the general public in the city where I leave.
I have had a lot of stressors this past 6-12 months, that also has increased my stress levels beyond the comfortable threshold. Plus, with the things/stress at work I think stress is bringing on some of the increased health issues. Since July, I have had 2 sinus/ear infections. The second was late August/early September. I think I have have something else, which requires more test, could be hypothyroidism (family history), it could be hyperglycemia (family history) or fibromyalgia (arthritis runs in the family, could be just that), which stress brings it on from the little I have read. I have insomnia (but it has been diagnosed by a doctor), I am almost positive I am an insomniac. I can do the tips they suggest and it helps with no chemicals/drugs and it helps get it under control.
I am getting sick of the "managers/supervisors" or anybody else asking, "why are you always sick?" I am almost positive the job/environment/negative atmosphere and/or energy, the stress from said job, and the building is making me sick.
Am I wrong in thinking this???
I don't think I am. I am at the point that I think I need to change said environment, take anti-anxiety pills (hate pills) or quit job all together.
I am trying to move out of SD, and head to more rural, less populated area near the mountains. So, I need to weigh the cost of changing jobs and my ultimate goal of moving. Which is causing more stress!!!!!!!
Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
All the environments in which you exist in for extended periods of time influence one's mental, emotional and physical health. I've gotten the worst case of the flu I've ever had by being in a really -really- negative place for just one night. Other people's energies, especially the 'infectious' ones that seem to leave this unseen residue on everything they touch or influence are in my opinion worse than the germs TV commercials advertise to kill with their anti-bacterial sprays.
If its possible for you to take some time off from work for a few days-- a week would be best (if you get PTO), spiritually clean your house and yourself and see how you feel. If you feel good and then go back to work and start to get sick again-- you need to start looking for a new job

I will do this. I am planning on purging and doing some spring cleaning, once I feel better. (I need to really be careful right now, I think I have walking pneumonia. But as long as I just slow down, rest etc...I can heal myself.) I plan on making a smudge sticks and cleansing home. I need to get a stone for negativity/grounding.
I really think job is making me sick. I have been away for two days, start feeling better and when I go back to work it seems like I go two steps back. I am going on week vacation or so, out to visit CR in July. (I think I am going to wait it out til then, unless something else presents itself before then.)
