Sam thank you for the tip! This year we havin' a hodgepodge. It be my friend comin over, my bubby ( who is actually here this year) my mother, myself and my son. I believe my daughter is spending the holdiday with her father ( my roommate or in more urban laymen's terms regardless of my repetitive statement that he is one of my best friend's and JUST a roomy...my "baby daddy"....even though the "baby" in question is 12 years old).

IT should be interesting to see how it goes in the kitchen. My friend loves to cook ( and he the one providing the Turkey). My husband loves to cook ( and only gets to do T-Day every other year here). My mother loves to cook for the holidays ( and has tons of pent up nervous energy if you make her sit still).
Me?
I am proud to say I have NEVER cooked a real turkey in my life. The closest I came to was those Jenny-O boxed turky loaves.....so I just stay the HAYL outta da kitchen.....

I'll pass on that tip though and see if the kitchen crew will take note of it.

Heeeheee!
My friend Amber intro'd that to me years ago and I found it BRILLIANT! Especially the robot pals....who I always though of as Moosebot and the bastard offspring of a popcorn maker and a gumball machine. It's awesome how they didna even try.....!
It has been forever since I have seen it.

Sis this year all I want to do is pass out for the majority of the three days of school I get off. *laughs* Although i'm going to be working on homework most of it. I'll probably be suckered into playing card games as well if my brother actually comes home we'll see about that. I don't really like the "holidays" of the more traditional Christan variety. Mostly because I don''t like most of my extended family much.

Food wise though I think my stepdad is mesquite smoking the turkey this year. Which means he gets to use the bbq which makes him happy. LOL I don't like turkey so I can't say how good it is personally but my mom and brother love it. *laughs* We have cranberry sauce, stuffing, olives, (I tell you Olives are there own food group.) If I was a drinker I may have thrown in some wine too. *laughs* I like Red wine over white though and I think White is what you drink with Turkey couldn't say for sure though. *laughs again* I'm on a ramble this morning.

Whoever makes the Haggis my friend says she would love to come over just to try it. She's always wanted to try that. *laughs*
