I'm back folks!
Actually I have been back for awhile however I promised to watch some stuff with my son and I also promised to work on his Bear Hat. He's too tired now to tell me how he wants the ears sewn on so now I am HERE.
It was AWESOME.
At first it was kinda slow. However I ended up with 4 readings ( they all went well I feel) and they were back to back ( I actually had to take a potty break while one gal picked her cards....and had to quickly sneak off for food as another fellow was about to flag me.....
). I almost had 5 however it was too close to closing.
Two were members (of BITU) and two were na. The neat thing is I didn't know any of them! LOL! So it was na the same as like reading for a friend and because I was in a shop I had to maintain something of a professional demeanor ( which I didna totally epically fail though I am sure when Winyan gets on she can fill you in on the Irish Pirate bit).
All in all the card readings went well.
OH!
And my cards were being FUNNY with me. I think there is a vortex in my pack......
See before I do a reading I make sure there is only ONE blank card ( my pack comes with several to hand out or whatever) and that all the cards are righted ( if you are meant to get an inverted card you will get it no matter WHAT I do).
So when I prechecked all was as should be.
Then person one comes for a reading. I do a quick check ( as I have Two Skunk Cards.....long story and wanted to make sure I was na missing a Skunk).
Guess what I found? THREE extra blanks!!! HOw????
I took em out and then remembered if they were in there then it was meant to be ( though for the life of me I do na know HOW they got there!!!).
So the reading goes well.
I shuffle my cards and those extras are there ( of course). I do na believe I gave a blank away ( i've made copies of blanks by the way as I am running out).
Third reading goes and I give a blank away. This leaves 3 left now in my deck ( as I had the original and the three that vorped in).
I checked my deck and .....now I am down to one blank. ????? I double checked. Um okay...... So they left?
Whatever.
My last reading and he got TWO blanks!!! ( with a blank left in the deck afterwards).
I will tell you I have NEVER had THAT happen before. My word! I guess Spirit really will make sure you don't mess up by having too little or too many of the right things to work with!!!!
True story. I totally couldna believe it!
So all in all it went well. I made a couple of new friends and totally pimped out
TNP ( one gal took SEVERAL cards wheeeeee!!!).
I was like all concerned that people were gonna be like "yeah how accurate can this be if she is having to read from that mangled looking book?" ( my book for the deck is so well loved it looks like it got in a fight with a lawnmower and lost.....).
No one thought anything of it.
Of course I think I made up for it by supplying a take home of their reading, a list of animal link resources and a friendly ( if ghetto) form saying if you are interested in more info then gimme your email and I supply it.
It's not just about divination. It's bout becoming informed.
The Anipals (as I have come to start calling them) were very strong about that point.
Besides I love putting together informational packets ( my geek moment).
I really want to do another session!
Being more hands on is really helping me remember and connect better with the Anipals.
I feel so blessed and loved to be able to do this ( work with them) and help people ( and assist the Anipals by being able to get them more exposure).
So all in all it was a great day!
