Mosely Leann, a 2+ year old Welsh Corgie/American Eskimo mix, we adopted early in the year, has been so much more than what we thought we would get.
She has the manners and the temperament of the 'perfect' dog; polite, friendly, playful, loving, just everything we could hope for. Her manners around other dogs is very playful and social, and although she loves cats, they mostly do not like her. She still has a lot of pup in her, so the cats see her as too aggressive, yet she hasn't tried to hurt any yet.
Being from the herding type breeding, she loves to try and 'herd' her canine and feline friends, we have taken her to the river walk a few times, and although we do not allow her to get too close to the resident goose flock, of about 100 birds, she still 'walks through' the act of herding and directing their movement.
This is Mosely and Aiyanna.
As we are outdoors kind of folk, Mosely has been really enjoying the camping trips and our outings to places like Yellowstone. We do keep her on a leash, when we have to, however she stays pretty close to us, and on the trails when allowed to roam while we are hiking and camping. As does all of the family, she also enjoys riding in the car and going on trips.

My point to all this? Just bragging on our newest family member!
What a gorgeous dog! You can definitely see the Corgie in her. Do you have kids? Has she tried to herd them yet?
We had a shetland sheepdog that would herb my daughter (who was 18 months old at the time) into a corner whenever we left the room. It was slightly annoying to my daughter but we welcomed the ability to be able to leave the room to cook dinner or something and know she was being watched dutifully LOL.
We have six furry companions, all rescued from shelters or the streets, and two feathered companions that were a bday gift from my husband two years ago. Besides that, we have fostered temporally about two dozens cats and dogs from shelters. Here are a few pics:
Orson (back, mixture of german sheperd and canarian warren hound , 4 years) and Pupi (front, siberian husky, 5 years) - both were rescued from shelters as puppies. Pupi was abandoned near a highway when she was 4 days old.
Baba, rescued on the street after the Delta hurricane - she had lost an eye, was completely bald due to abandon stress and had several chronic illnesses. She is now, after much effort, a loving, wonderful dog.
Lady China - from a rescue group. Lovely and stubborn as only a lady can be .
Kyra - from the same rescue group. My familiar, and the reincarnation of our previous familiar, who was killed by a neighbour (may all curses from this Witch fall on him).
Frida, found on the street at two months old, our youngest and evil fairy cat, and my husband's familiar.
Alpha and Beta, our gay budgies. The shop owner sold two males to my husband, and now we can't separate them because they have fallen in love...

This is Dexter. He is a five year old Sheltie who is very shy and can't stand to be surrounded by peeps! He's such a sweetie. Funny thing is, he was once my nabors dog from two blocks away. We took care of him whenever she was off to work late and so one. Until one day we get a call from the owner that Dexter had somehow escaped! I was just coming home from a walk when I saw Dexter sitting at the porch of my house! It seemed he was happy to see me and ran up for much love. Later I heard what happened and couldn't help but to laugh. Three months later his owner just didn't want him, so she literly dumpd everything of his (Including the drawing of him my father gave her) onto me. He's never left my side since!
