Yeah reiki and animals. You can use reiki with animals. Whyyyyyy?
Same you would for a person. That and some animals just diiiiig it.
But what about that whole ask permission rule?Animals can't speak you know.....
Yes I am well aware of that. It's pretty easy. Kick on the reiki. If the animal leaves they don't want it, like it or need it. If they stay or follow you around for it then ta da! They want it, like it , or need it.
The tricky part is HOW MUCH. Some animals well let you know when they have had enough ( the leave or get agitated like El Pollo my Oscar that my husband likes to give reiki to). I have a couple of energy hogs here in the house.
You have to watch that.
Ems once soaked up the high energy throw off of a friend ( she refused to leave his side even though you could see she was antsy) until she pissed herself stupid ( and you could tell she was awfully apologetic about the whole thing).
A friend of mine has a cat that will gravitate towards high energy points in the house ( say his altar) until it vomits.
Energy Hogs are not particularly bright when it comes to topping off. LOL!
So with known energy hog animals limit the amount of time you reiki them.
My cat Hoodlet ( LetLet) luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrvvvvvvvvees reiki. Anytime I have used it for an intense and/or long period of time BAM! There she is.
Like when I did an attunement....I used reiki to clear the area and do all the prep work. When I sat said person down in the chair guess who was soaking up all the reiki goodness underneath it ( hmmmm I wonder if I accidentally attuned her....I never thought about attuning animals before.....LOL).
Then there was a time I was using reiki to cleanse the house and guess who was following me about? Yup. LetLet the Reiki Hog. So I sent her some until she damn near passed out in the middle of the floor figuring "that outta do ya". Nope. She got rather irate when I cut her off and went back to what I was doing.
So yes you can do reiki for animals. They will quickly let you know if they agree with it or not.
