The Noble Pagan Forums - New Section Maybe?

I've been thinking about this, so I wanted to see how this would fly...

Do you think we could have a political section? I'm not talking about a flamewar/freeforall section, but somewhere where we could post current events relating to politics/government/international issues/human and or civil rights/etc. In this section maybe we could bounce around different viewpoints & stuff like that.

Now, I'm sure a few people here are aware that threads like that can get heated and all, but I think it'd add a little something extra, 'specially since it seems we are getting bigger everyday.

Personally, I've become MUCH more politically/governmentally aware over the past couple of years, and I'd like to have a place to discuss issues with other people.

What do y'all think?

Gonna watch this thread for responses, then we'll discuss it at the mid-month meeting.

I know it's kinda iffy--things like this can get heated fast and I'm aware of that. I'm a member of some other forums and it can get downright UGLY at times (on that forum, the political section is only lightly modded), but I tell ya, there's some downright interesting and thought provoking discussions.
