I am Cloudrunner.
My given name is Brandon, however I answer to many. Bubba, Jab, CR, asshole. Any will do just fine.
The Noble Pagan is my prodigy, she has been up and running, in various stages of working and disrepair since January 2002. Her motivation, and I say this as if she is a real person because really she's been nagging at me since the mid 90s, has always been to help out the pagan community in various ways. We finally found her niche in 2003 when we changed her from just an informational site to a site that provides a community and provides various services to the entire online (and off in some areas) pagan community.
Our mission statement is "Pagans helping pagans by promoting tolerance through education." We will not hold your hand nor sugar coat your answers. What you will get from me and The Noble Pagan Staff is down to earth, researched and proven information. If we cannot find the proper information for you, we will at least point you in the right directon to get the information you seek.
Now, as I said earlier,
TNP has been nagging at me since the mid 90s and I didn't realize what the issue was and why I had this nagging at the back of everything I did. Then I read a story online about a little girl named Tempest Smith who had committed suicide because she was driven to that point by bullying within her school based on her religious choices.
As a father I broke down in tears and decided to do something about it. After weeks of thinking about what I could do way over in Germany (where I was stationed at the time), I came up with
TNP. Thus she came to fruition. Over a couple of years, she grew in breadth and came to encompass more than I ever thought she would.
Then I left the Army and moved to Seattle. By then
TNP had changed from information hander-outter to a full blown community of pagans, with everything from local chapters and meeting groups to the forums and a host of services that any pagan could utilize. In June of 2003 I sent out a thread post that invited anyone in the area to a Birthday BBQ at my place, only
TNP members were invited. From there I met (whom you will meet shortly) Celtic Spider in real life and TvHawk as well.
I fell in love with the goofy goober and her children (even as much of a handful as they are, I love em dearly) and we've been very close friends since then. She has been both a teacher, and at times student, to me over the years, and I heavily lean on her when things go wonky for me. I trust her with my life, family, kids and spiritual well being. I'm confident that you can do the same as well

.
*Sad Panda* Time came, as it invariably does, where I lost my job and was forced to take a job on the East Coast of the US. I said my goodbyes and packed up and moved away with every intention of keeping
TNP running, sadly I lost my way after that and only recently have been able to reconnect to everything. That was 5 years ago now ...
During that time I've watched my family grow intellectually, physical, but have also watched myself stagnate and wither spiritually. It scared me. I called CS and we reconnected and the rest is history as we've resurrected
TNP and we know are in the process of rebuilding from the pieces left from 5 years of neglect and abandonment.
I hope that you find the reincarnation of
TNP a glorious and happy, inviting place to be. If there is anything, I mean it, ANYTHING that we can do for you, just ask. We will do everything in our power to make it happen for you. That is my personal promise to the users of
TNP and her community.
Until we meet again, Namaste'
